WHY "CLEVER ADDER"?
If someone wants to know, here is the story how we created the name of this project - Clever Adder.
PROJECT WORKING TITLE
A long time ago, when we were first time talking about starting a project for learning the basics of math, the first name that came up to my mind was "Add game".
Nothing particularly innovative or fun, but good enough for a working project title.
It was a few years ago, as described in the text About us.
LONG HOT SUMMER
This remained the case until last summer, when we started the topic of continuing the work on the project.
I didn't start programming even then, but I did think about the basics - I defined the new working title of the project and roughly sketched the look of the cover and the main visual elements - the adder and squares for selecting arithmetic operations.
THE FLOW OF THOUGHTS
How did I come up with the name Clever Adder?

Let's get back to "Add game" - because application, apart from addition, also contains other basic arithmetic operations, I needed a more general name.
I've tried to play with words a bit. I've taken the "add" word (base of word "addition"), which with added suffix "er" forms existing word "adder" (animal from a "snake family"). Associations that led me to it probably came from popular "Black adder" TV series (kids probably don't know much about it, but parents and older certainly remember it).
CLOSE TO A SOLUTION
The next step was to find some rhyme with the word "adder" and, at the same time, to have some connection with the theme of the project. The closest and pretty meaningful word that came to my mind was "Clever" forming expression "Clever Adder" - the name of this project.
The name is there. I hope you like it and it will get stuck in your ears.
Even in a year or two, when arithmetics won't be something that bothers you, stop by to Clever Adder from time to time.
You won't be forced to repeat multiplication or division. We want to surprise you with some new things that will appear here.
